Two weekends ago, we participated in the World Wide Weekend for Vulnerable Children put on by Capstone Ministries. Executive Directors and good friends, Dan & Patty Schmelzer, invited us to join them for the weekend long event involving around 300 children from the Kisumu area

Also along for the event was The Soderstrom family, visitors of Dan's & Patty's, visiting Kenya from California. Since Peter is a denist, he was able to give a demonstration of proper toothbrushing, followed by teaching the children a song about brushing their teeth, and then passing out new toothbrushes.
The rest of the day was filled with singing and games with the kids including sack races, football kicks, and more.
