Despite being an ocean apart from America and all the Thanksgiving traditions, we have enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day. After arriving last night in Nairobi to spend the American holiday weekend with our World Mission Director and his family, we woke up this morning to pumpkin spiced coffee and the final feast preparations. Krista executed fantastic planning, arranging for key ingredients to be brought from the US by recent guests, and scouring Nairobi for special ingredients and created a gourmet Thanksgiving meal. We even had a turkey and homemade whipped cream for the pumpkin pie. Our bellies are stuffed, and we are most thankful to God for his abounding blessings, keeping us safe and providing for us in all our needs. We miss our families at home, and hope these pictures can give all of you a glimpse into our holiday festivities.
